A New ‘Wonder Woman’ Trailer Released

Hera be praised! A brand new Wonder Woman trailer was released today and it is glorious! In this trailer we see Diana (Gal Gadot) embarking on her first solo adventure; looking back to the time of the First World War, the circumstances by which she is both introduced to Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) and the ongoing horror of “The War To End All Wars.” And ultimately, her decision to leave the sanctity and safety of her island paradise, Themyscira, to aid in putting an end to the evil that is threatening our world.

Wonder Woman will be the fourth film in the newly-launched DC Cinematic Universe. Directed by Patty Jenkins (Monster, The Killing) and also starring Robin Wright, Connie Nielsen, David Thewlis, Ewen Bremner, Lucy Davis, and Danny Huston.

Wonder Woman opens in theaters on June 2, 2017.
