ATLANTA, GA – May 30, 2017 – More than 31,000 gamers and pop culture enthusiasts walked the floors of MomoCon 2017 last week at the Georgia World Congress Center. MomoCon 2017 featured panels and presentations from leading companies in the video and tabletop games industry including Square Enix, Blizzard, Wizards of the Coast, the Co-Optional Podcast, and Geek & Sundry. At the third annual Indie Game Awards, judges Rami Ismail of Vlambeer, Mike Fahey of Kotaku, Chris Carter of Destructoid, Mitchell Saltzman of IGN, Chelsea Stark of Polygon, Rob Manuel of Geek & Sundry and Russ Pitts of Take This delivered the following awards:

Developers of the winning games receive a $1,000 prize, free exhibit space and a dedicated panel at MomoCon 2018, highlighted placement in the MomoCon newsletter and a trophy.

“This year we were honored to host some the biggest names in gaming in addition to renewing our commitment to independent developers at this year’s Indie Game Award Show,” says Chris Stuckey, Co-Founder of MomoCon. “As the gaming industry grows, so does MomoCon, which boasts the largest gaming show floor in the southeast US.”
