The Second Union Summer Movie Guide – 2017

With the summer months fast approaching, we’re all going to be looking for ways to stay cool! One way we do that is by packing ourselves into our local air-conditioned cineplexes and watching (and sometimes rewatching) our favorite summer blockbusters on the big screen. This summer will be no exception, Despicable Me 3, Spider-Man: Homecoming and Wonder Woman are just a few of the great films to look forward to. For your convenience, we’ve compiled a list of Summer 2017’s most anticipated offerings, with trailers as available.

MAY

Baywatch (2017)

Official Synopsis: Devoted lifeguard Mitch Buchanan butts heads with a brash new recruit. Together, they uncover a local criminal plot that threatens the future of the Bay.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales

Official Synopsis: Captain Jack Sparrow is pursued by an old nemesis, Armando Salazar, who along with his Spanish Navy ghost crew has escaped from the Devil’s Triangle and is determined to kill every pirate at sea. Jack, aided by new allies Henry and Carina, must seek the Trident of Poseidon, a powerful artifact that grants its possessor total control over the seas, in order to defeat Salazar.

Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie

Official Synopsis: Two imaginative elementary school students, George Beard and Harold Hutchins (Kevin Hart and Thomas Middleditch), hypnotise their arrogant principal, Benny Krupp (Ed Helms), who transforms into their titular kind hearted comic book creation known as Captain Underpants, and together, they are setting out to a dangerous journey in stopping a mad scientist Pippy Poopypants (Nick Kroll) who threatens the world.

Wonder Woman

It Comes At Night

Spider-Man: Homecoming

The Dark Tower
