So, it has taken me the weekend to get up the emotion to create this article. When one of my friends texted me,”Did you see this?” and then a screenshot of a sensitive looking Zachary Levi with the NerdHQ logo stamped at the bottom…I knew it couldn’t be good news. And to my horror, in that video (that I waited a full day to finally view it.) Zachary Levi announced that NerdHQ would not be returning to San Diego Comic-Con this 2017 Summer. Grab the tissues and watch below…
In the video, It was revealed that NerdHQ will have some type of presence this year but it won’t be as big as The Children’s Museum setup. Any NerdHQ is good NerdHQ. And one day after this video announcement, it is advertised that Levi will be the host of SyFy Presents Live at Comic-Con three (3) night event. I attended it last year and I must say, Levi was my favorite guest to come out on stage. Because he is one of us. A comic-con nerd! So, yes I will stand in any uncomfortable condition to just be in the presence of Levi. He is just an all-around swell guy. But hopefully, the venue and overall production will change for the better. Read about my experience last year attending SyFy’s Live at Comic-Con.
From the Hollywood Reporter:
“Returning for the second year, the three-night event will be broadcast live from the San Diego comic book convention Thursday, July 20, through Saturday, July 22. Levi replaces Will Arnett as host, and he will also executive produce along with his producing partner David Coleman through his Middle Man Productions Banner. Live From Comic-Con hails from Wilshire Studios.” Read more>>>
If Levi and the gang decide to set up an Indiegogo to bring back NerdHQ for 2018 like what was set up in 2014, take my money. I want my NerdHQ! Here are some highlights of past NerdHQ fun…
