Sweet Christmas! Here is the first (assuredly not the last) full-length, action-packed trailer for the Netflix original series, Luke Cage which premieres next month.

Luke Cage, played by Mike Colter, made his debut in the acclaimed Netflix original series, Jessica Jones. That show, which followed in the success of last year Daredevil, gave us our first look at the man with the unbreakable skin and superhuman strength. Luke Cage will follow the events of that series, and return with our hero back to the streets of Harlem, where he’ll deal with his past, including flashbacks to his origin story, (longtime fans will rejoice in the nod to the classic costume from the comics) and a new threat, in the form of crime boss Cornell “Cottonmouth” Stokes played by Mahershala Ali.

Rounding out the cast are Alfre Woodard (Mariah Dillard), Simone Missick (Misty Knight), Theo Rossi (Shades), Frank Whaley (Rafael Scarfe), and Rosario Dawson (Claire Temple).

Marvel’s Luke Cage premieres on Sept. 30 at 12:01 a.m. on Netflix.
