Stardew Valley, an open-ended country-life RPG, will be receiving a large update very soon. According to a recent blog post from the developer, the new update will include five different starting farm maps with different themes, new character events, new upgrade options, and more. PC Gamer has released a video on YouTube showcasing some of the new features while interviewing Stardew Valley sole developer, Eric Barone.
Stardew Valley was heavily inspired by the Harvest Moon video game series. Barone spent four years developing the game and it went on to become one of the highest-selling titles on Steam shortly after its release. The game is currently available for Microsoft Windows, OS X, and Linux. It will be released for PlayStation 4, Wii U, and Xbox One sometime during Q4 of this year.
