San Diego Comic-Con 2022 has come to an end, but the best thing about an ending is reliving the beginning.
So here are 12 Groovy Moments from San Diego Comic-Con 2022 – in random order:
1. Q&A Breakfast with French Stewart, 3rd Rock from the Sun
San Diego Comic-Con attendees visited many of TV’s most iconic characters at the COZI TV’s Iconic Characters exhibit. The exhibit was highlighted by a genuine 1962 AMC Rambler American 400, just like the red convertible featured in the Emmy-winning 3rd Rock from the Sun, and an appearance on Friday, July 22 by actor and comedian French Stewart, who played the character Harry Solomon on the hit comedy. Eligible fans can enter for a chance to win the fully restored classic car through the COZI TV 3rd Rock Rambler Sweepstakes at COZITV.com now through Aug. 31.
I had the unique pleasure to have breakfast with and ask a question to French Stewart!
2. Kevin Feige Marvel MCU Phase 4|5|6 Revealed in Hall H
MCU fans were given one surprise after another at the recently concluded San Diego Comic-Con 2022 as Kevin Feige gifted the 6400+ Hall H audience with epic MCU movie/TV show announcements! It was not just about Phase 4, though, but Phase 5 and Phase 6 reveals put the crowd present at Saturday’s Marvel Studios’ Hall H panel in a frenzy. In comparison to San Diego Comic-Con 2019, that Saturday Hall H panel only had Phase 4 announcements made by the Marvel CCO!
3. Comic-Con Museum: Spider-Man Exhibition
Spider-Man is brought to life! Fans of the web-slinger explored his history at this world-premiere exhibition. From his creation in the early 1960s to his current place as one of popular culture’s most seminal figures. Visitors are able to enjoy interactive installations and broad set pieces, learn about the many creators who contributed to the Spider-Man mythos and discover a number of invaluable artifacts from the past six decades of his story. This exhibit is still open to enjoy at The Comic-Con Museum. If you will be in the San Diego area, visit https://beyondamazingexhibition.com to learn more and get your tickets.

6. Abbott Elementary Experience
Setup in front of the Hilton San Diego Bayfront, fans walked the halls of Abbott Elementary, earning their very own staff credentials via very detailed experiential set recreations. Fans challenged their inner Principal Ava by striking a pose behind her official desk and paying a visit to Janine’s classroom for the opportunity to contribute to real teachers in need through curated Scholastic ClassroomsCount™ wish lists. The “New Teacher Dis-Orientation” activation also featured original art submitted by fans via the official “Abbott Elementary” Fan Art Contest, in addition to screenings of fan-favorite episodes, live performances and more.
7. Saturday Hall H Line Group The Good-Goods Sing-Along “Bohemian Rhapsody”
The ultimate entertainers of the Saturday Hall H line, The Good-Goods once again help with re-energizing the sleep-deprived, definitely dehydrated line while waiting to enter to experience a day of panels like Warner Bros., Paramount+ Star Trek Universe. It is always a delight to hear them singing Bohemian Rhapsody. “You good?” FOLLOW The Good-Goods on their Instagram page.

9. Ethan Peck (Star Trek: Strange New Worlds) T-shirt
My species initiated first contact and all I got was this lousy t-shirt!
10. Funko Fundays – Blacklight Battle
This fun-filled offsite event was packed with live on-stage games, food, reveals, and celebrity appearances. The Funatics celebrated Funko by giving out all energy during this return to Fundays at San Diego Comic-Con. We all got prized up immensely. Go Team Proto Robos!
11. Fandom Party presented by Paramount+
Always one of my favorite SDCC events to attend…Fandom, the world’s largest fan platform, returned to San Diego for Comic-Con and hosted one of the most sought-after events, partnering with premium streaming service Paramount+ and the graphic novel and collectibles publisher Z2 Comics. After a three-year hiatus, the immersive event was held at Float at the Hard Rock Hotel. Attendees dove into some of pop culture’s most popular franchises, including Halo, Beavis and Butt-Head, and the Star Trek universe, in a fun and immersive way that only Fandom provided, including themed activations, interactive photo booths and an entertainment-inspired menu. The headline musician of the night was DJ Don Diablo!
12. Crazy4ComicCon Podcast Recaps SDCC 2022
San Diego Comic-Con 2022 is officially in the books! After 3 looooong years, we finally return to the greatest show on Earth – but did it live up to the expectations? We, con veterans, joined Tony Kim/Crazy4ComicCon for his 101st Episode Comic-Con Prep Special and returned together to do an official recap of the show. We looked back to Gaslamp, the showroom floor, panels, offsite events, and of course, Hall H. I joined podcast host, Tony, Jeff, Becky, and Stephanie to discuss our San Diego Comic-con 2022 adventures and it was so much fun to reminisce with these fellow pro SDCC geeks.
