We’ve been bringing you news and updates regarding the Hulu Original Series Marvel’s Runaways since it was first announced back in August. (See: Hulu Orders Marvel’s ‘Runaways’ Series) After the teaser trailer earlier this month, we’ve been chomping at the bit to see more! And recently Hulu gave in and gave us a much longer, and more detailed look at what looks to be a very intriguing and worthwhile addition to Marvel’s ever-expanding stable of programming.

Marvel’s Runaways, is based on a superhero comic book series published by Marvel Comics, that debuted in July of 2003, and was created by Brian K. Vaughan and Adrian Alphona. The series features a group of teenagers (Nico Minoru, Karolina Dean, Molly Hayes, Chase Stein, Alex Wilder, and Gertrude Yorkes) who discover their parents are part of an evil, superhuman crime syndicate known as “The Pride”.  In the wake of this discovery, and the realization that they too have powers of their own, the kids band together, rebelling against the villainous machinations of their parents and set out to defeat them.

Executive produced by series showrunners/writers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage (The O.C., Gossip Girl) along with Marvel’s Head of Television, Jeph Loeb (Marvel’s Luke Cage, Marvel’s Iron Fist) and Jim Chory (Marvel’s Daredevil, Marvel’s Jessica Jones.) Fake Empire’s Lis Rowinski will also produce. Marvel’s Runaways is co-produced with ABC Signature Studios.

The first season of Runaways premieres on Tuesday, November 21 on Hulu.
