The screening will celebrate the groundbreaking epic’s 25th anniversary, as well as the upcoming release of JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM.

In director Steven Spielberg’s three-time Academy Award®-winning blockbuster Jurassic Park, paleontologists Alan Grant (Sam Neill) and Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern) and mathematician Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) are among a select group chosen to tour an island theme park populated by dinosaurs created from prehistoric DNA. While the park’s mastermind, billionaire John Hammond (Richard Attenborough), assures everyone that the facility is safe, they find out otherwise when various ferocious predators break free and go on the hunt.
The groundbreaking epic that launched one of the most popular series in cinema history stars Neill, Dern, Goldblum, Samuel L. Jackson and Attenborough. Originally released in theaters on June 11, 1993, Jurassic Park is based on the novel by Michael Crichton and produced by Kathleen Kennedy and Gerald R. Molen.
The film will be displayed in the museum’s immersive, four-story-tall Giant Screen Theater at 6:30 PM on Sunday, April 15. Immediately following the special presentation, the family-friendly event will be followed by a brief reception in the Great Hall. Admission to the after party is free with a ticket to the event ($10 in advance/$12 at the door).
