Highly acclaimed sci-fi survival horror RPG is now available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One
Krakow, Poland – September 28, 2021 – Following a hugely successful PC release this past July, video game publisher All in! Games and development studio, The Farm 51, are pleased to announce that Chernobylite is now also available for PlayStation 4 (Digital+Physical) and Xbox One (Digital). Players can get the sci-fi survival horror RPG, set in a hyper realistic 3D-scanned recreation of the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, digitally on console storefronts for $29.99 / €29.99 / £24.99.
Fans eager to get their hands on a physical version of the game for PlayStation 4 will be able to purchase a copy from their local retailers in North America as of today (September 28), and on October 1 throughout Europe. The PlayStation 4 physical retail edition of Chernobylite features a detailed digital map of the Exclusion Zone, digital postcards, a digital poster, and a digital artbook, ‘The Art of Chernobylite’.
Chernobylite’s console release isn’t the end of its story however, with more great content planned to be released over the next 14 months in the form of 6 DLCs (including paid and free content). Each DLC will introduce a mix of new missions, monsters, weapons, game modes, and much more. Check out Chernobylite’s brand new website to learn more about the extensive post-launch content roadmap.
“Chernobylite is one of the most popular indie games of 2021 and it’s been an honor to help The Farm 51 bring it first to PC and now to consoles,” said Piotr Żygadło, CEO at All in! Games. “Of course, our work with Chernobylite won’t end here, we’re committed to supporting the game going forward. I’m really happy to reveal that players, who own the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One versions of Chernobylite, will receive free, automatic upgrades to the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S versions, respectively, when it comes to next-gen consoles.”
“It’s been a pleasure to collaborate with All in! Games on both the PC and console releases of Chernobylite. We’re looking forward to continuing our work together as we map out a DLC roadmap for the future of the game,” said Wojciech Pazdur, Director of Development at The Farm 51. “Our community can look forward to more DLCs this year for Halloween and Christmas that will add new missions, monsters, and a new map, so stay tuned.”
