San Diego, CA–Godzilla: Final Wars director Ryuhei Kitamura will attend San Diego Comic-Con on Friday, July 26th for a panel appearance and same-day interviews. His attendance coincides with the 20th Anniversary of Godzilla: Final Wars.

Director Ryuhei Kitamura debuted with his feature film Versus (2000). Due to its success, he went on to direct high-profile films such as Godzilla: Final Wars (2004), critically acclaimed The Midnight Meat Train (2008) [based on Clive Barker’s horror short story with Bradley Cooper, Vinnie Jones, and Brooke Shields], No One Lives (2012) starring Luke Evans, and the live-action adaption of the popular manga by Monkey Punch: Lupin the 3rd(2014).
He also directed the in-game cutscenes for Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes, a remake of the iconic Metal Gear Solid for GameCube, which garnered positive reviews from game sites.
Deadline recently reported that Ryuhei Kitamura is set to direct Thrill Ride, a roller coaster thriller.
