Hooray! Marvel has released the opening credits of Netflix’s Luke Cage before its Friday debut in a Tweet. Check out the full opening credits scene below:

The opening credits reveal some familiar structures of Harlem. Such as, the Apollo Theater, Lenox Avenue and Malcolm X Blvd, subway signs, various corner stores and food stands. The images are superimposed in the massive muscles of Luke Cage. After an ultimate blow to a wall, the official logo appears.
Luke Cage has a star-studded cast which includes Mike Colter (“Marvel’s Jessica Jones” “The Good Wife”), Mahershala Ali (“House of Cards” “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Parts I and II”) as the Cornell “Cottonmouth” Stokes, Alfre Woodard (“12 Years a Slave” “State of Affairs”) as Mariah Dillard a Harlem politician, Simone Missick (“Ray Donovan”) as Harlem police detective Misty Knight, Theo Rossi (“Sons of Anarchy,” “Alcatraz”) as merciless criminal Shades, Frank Whaley (“Ray Donovan” “Swimming with Sharks”) as NYPD detective Rafael Scarfe, Sonia Braga (“Aquarius” “Brothers & Sisters”) as Claire Temple’s mother, Soledad Temple and Rosario Dawson will be reprising her “Marvel’s Daredevil” role as nurse Claire Temple.
All episodes of the first season will be available to stream on Netflix on Friday, September 30.
