Every Wednesday the comic book Gods and Goddesses bless us with brand new books from our favorite series! Here are some of the books that have caught my attention and make me eager to run down to my LCS:
Cyborg Rebirth #1 – This new Cyborg series is one of many books that have been spawned from DC’s “rebirth” initiative. The goal of this initiative is to fix some problems with the DC continuity; as well as, create an environment that allows new readers to start from issue #1. This will also give DC a chance to promote some of their new movies, such as The Justice League. Re-experience the story of Victor Stone and the tragic accident that created..Cyborg in Cyborg Rebirth #1!
Supergirl #1 – Start reading another great new DC rebirth title with Supergirl! Living the double life of a teenager and a superhero, Supergirl will face one of her greatest foes…her father, Cyborg Superman! This story is bound to be full of witty teenage angst and compelling drama that will have you locked in from the start. Don’t sleep on Supergirl #1!
Skybourne #1 – Frank Cho writes and illustrates his brand new original series! Cho has blessed us with his amazing art on various titles like Wonder Woman, Totally Awesome Hulk and Savage Wolverine. Skybourne #1 is an original story of a hero that attempts to stop an evil plot devised by none other than… the wizard Merlin! This is a modern spin on the Legend of King Arthur with a little James Bond twist. This is sure to be a fun ride from start to finish!
Dishonored #2 – Titan Comics is at it again with another big video game title. Fans of the game Dishonored will be glad to know that the steampunk assassin adventure continues with protagonist Corvo Attano. This comic brings to life all the stealthy violence and magic you loved in the game. This will also serve as a good promotional tool for the much anticipated Dishonored 2 video game. If you are or are not a fan of the game, it is still an outstanding story and deserves a read!
Moon Knight #6 – Continue protagonist Marc Spector’s psychotic journey in this issue of Moon Knight! This series has been entertaining so far with twists, turns, and some incredible art to top it all off. Start to finish this story will keep you guessing and wanting more. Be sure to check out Moon Knight #6!
