Fire Emblem Heroes is a free-to-play mobile game published by Nintendo. The game will be available for iOS and Android devices and it is scheduled to be released on February 2, 2017. This mobile game is a spin-off of the Fire Emblem series and it will feature several new characters alongside characters from other games within the franchise.

Players will be taking on the role of a summoner who calls on heroes to fight enemies placed on a grid map. Like most mobile games, missions will cost stamina points which are recovered at a rate of about a point per hour. The game will also have in-game currencies which can be purchased with real money or earned by playing the game.

Fire Emblem Heroes has the potential to be a great introduction for people new to this tactical role-playing series. For those who are not new, it could be an excellent distraction while waiting for Fire Emblem Warriors and Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia.
