Many game companies will be providing spooky holiday events this coming October and The Sims 4 is no exception. Maxis and Electronic Arts are kicking things off early this year with a game update that was just released today. Sims of all ages can paint their faces to look like sugar skulls and have been provided brand new outfits to match. There are also new house objects that will make this year’s Day of the Dead celebration feel extra special and Sims can dine on a new recipe called ”Pan De Muerto” while they judge their player’s interior decorating skills. Today’s patch has also prepped the game for an event that will become available as we get closer to the Day of the Dead and Halloween. During the event, Sims will be collecting sugar skulls for rewards, rubbing elbows with the Grim Reaper, and honouring their ancestors who have passed on.
It’s always fun to see what game developers come up with for one of the funniest holidays of the year. Be sure to keep an eye on Second Union as we get closer to October 31st to learn about more in-game events like this one!
