In this Tweet released earlier today, Marvel and Netflix confirmed Luke Cage will indeed be returning for a second season. One would assume the series will follow the previously announced Marvel’s Iron Fist and the crossover/team-up series Marvel’s Defenders, which are both scheduled to debut on Netflix in 2017. Additionally, fans can also expect Daredevil Season 3, Season 2 of Marvel’s Jessica Jones and the first season of the Daredevil spin-off Marvel’s Punisher, starring Jon Bernthal.
Luke Cage stars Mike Colter, Alfre Woodard, Simone Missick, Theo Rossi, Frank Whaley, Mahershala Ali, and Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple.
Luke Cage Season 1 is currently available for streaming on Netflix.
