1. Deadpool/Wolverine Hall H Screening
The highlight of Hall H was undoubtedly the exclusive screening of Deadpool 3, where fans were treated to an unexpected surprise: Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman took the stage together. The audience erupted with excitement as they previewed hilarious, action-packed scenes showcasing Deadpool’s irreverent humor and Wolverine’s iconic claws. Following the screening, Marvel Studios hosted “The Ultimate Deadpool & Wolverine Celebration Of Life,” a spectacular drone and fireworks display outside the convention center, lighting up the San Diego night sky. 5. MAX’s The Penguin Activation
Max, in partnership with Giant Spoon, transformed the Bloom Nightclub into Gotham’s famed Iceberg Lounge. Upon arrival at “The Iceberg Lounge” Experience, guests will enter the “Iceberg Descent,” created in partnership with BUCK and VT Pro Design, an immersive experience filled with special effects, haptic technology, interactivity and exclusive content displayed on Samsung big screen TVs. This
multi-sensorial, subterranean descent drops users into Gotham’s notorious Iceberg Lounge lobby to navigate through the wreckage left by The Riddler at the end of The Batman (2022) film to reach the party deeper within.
6. XLE Parties: The Ultimate Networking Experience
The XLE Parties once again set the standard for after-hours networking at Comic-Con. These exclusive events brought together industry professionals, influencers, and fans for an evening of fun, music, and connection. With stunning venues and high-energy performances, the XLE brand continues to be synonymous with the elite social scene at SDCC, allowing attendees to mingle and forge lasting relationships in a vibrant atmosphere.
7. The immersive Enter the Forbidden Zone! The Planet of the Apes Experience
At San Diego Comic-Con 2024, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes captivated fans with its immersive “Enter the Forbidden Zone!” experience. Over 5,000 visitors explored six decades of franchise history, with displays of costumes, props, and photography from all ten films in the Planet of the Apes saga.
