Netflix and Marvel have released a new featurette for the highly anticipated Iron Fist series which is set to premiere next month. In addition to some new footage, the featurette does a good job of giving us a more in-depth look at the motivations behind Danny Rand’s return to New York City and Rand Enterprises, his first encounter with Colleen Wing, as well as how he is able to tap into the “fire of the fist” —a “force that runs through the universe.”
The new series stars Finn Jones, Jessica Henwick, David Wenham, Jessica Stroup, Tom Pelphrey Carrie-Anne Moss and Rosario Dawson.
“Fifteen years after being presumed dead in a plane crash, Danny Rand (Finn Jones) mysteriously returns to New York City determined to reclaim his birthright and family company. However, when a long-destined enemy rises in New York, this living weapon is forced to choose between his family’s legacy and his duties as the Iron Fist.”
Marvel’s Iron Fist premieres March 17, 2017 exclusively on Netflix.
