Some new Nintendo Switch news is finally on the way! Nintendo fans can catch a new presentation live from Tokyo at 8 pm PT or 11 pm ET tonight to finally get some answers to the following:
Price – Media sites are predicting it will fall around $250 to $300 US.
Release date and international release details – We currently know that the release date is sometime in March of this year, but will the Switch be released at different dates around the world?
Games – There are a few games which have been confirmed so far, such as Zelda: Breath of the Wild. However, footage Skyrim was shown in the initial trailer and Nintendo has yet to officially confirm if the game will actually be available at launch.
Specs – Nintendo is not known for making super-powered consoles, so a lot of people are not expecting to be blown away by what the Nintendo Switch can do. At the same time, the Switch is powered by a custom Nvidia Tegra chipset and this means it could possibly end up being the most powerful gaming handheld on the market.
A Nintendo Treehouse Live presentation is also scheduled tomorrow at 6:30 am PT/9:30 am ET which will provide a closer look at some of the Nintendo Switch’s upcoming games. Therefore, if the first presentation does not give you the information you were hoping, perhaps the Treehouse Live presentation can fill in the blanks.
