New Season Three Cast Members Announced
Exciting news for House of the Dragon fans! HBO has officially begun production on the highly anticipated third season of its hit drama series in the United Kingdom.
Based on George R.R. Martin’s novel Fire & Blood, House of the Dragon is set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, chronicling the turbulent history of House Targaryen. With its gripping storytelling, intricate political intrigue, and stunning visuals, the series has captivated audiences worldwide.
Returning and New Cast Members
The eight-episode third season boasts a stellar returning cast, including:
- Matt Smith (Daemon Targaryen)
- Emma D’Arcy (Rhaenyra Targaryen)
- Olivia Cooke (Alicent Hightower)
- Steve Toussaint (Lord Corlys Velaryon)
- Rhys Ifans (Otto Hightower)
- Fabien Frankel, Ewan Mitchell, Tom Glynn-Carney, Sonoya Mizuno, Harry Collett, Bethany Antonia, Phoebe Campbell, Phia Saban, Jefferson Hall, Matthew Needham, Tom Bennett, Kieran Bew, Kurt Egyiawan, Freddie Fox, Clinton Liberty, Gayle Rankin, and Abubakar Salim.
Joining the cast this season are Tommy Flanagan as Ser Roderick Dustin and Dan Fogler as Ser Torrhen Manderly. Additionally, James Norton was previously announced as Ormund Hightower.
Season 3 Directors & Production Team
Season 3 will feature the directorial talents of Clare Kilner, Nina Lopez-Corrado, Andrij Parekh, and Loni Peristere.
