Scream 7 Big Game Spot and New Throwback Poster

In anticipation of the upcoming release of the next installment in the popular Scream slasher series later this month, Paramount Pictures has released their Big Game Spot trailer as well as a brand new poster that harkens back to the original poster from the first movie. See both of them below for comparison.

Scream 7, directed by franchise creator Kevin Williamson and co-written with Guy Busick. The film is set to hit theaters on February 27, 2026, marking the long-awaited return of Neve Campbell as Sidney Prescott.

After sitting out Scream VI, Campbell’s return is a major highlight for longtime fans. Courteney Cox also reprises her role as Gale Weathers, and newcomer Isabel May joins the cast as Sidney’s daughter. Filming began in January 2025 in Atlanta, following months of creative reshuffling that saw Williamson step in to direct after Christopher Landon’s departure.

The trailer teases a darker tone and several nods to the 1996 original. One moment, in particular, has fans buzzing about a familiar voice that might hint at the return of a past Ghostface.

With the franchise entering its third decade, Scream 7 promises a blend of nostalgia and reinvention. For horror fans, it is shaping up to be one of 2026’s most anticipated releases.
