Women of the MARVEL CINEMATIC UNIVERSE Assemble!

The once-in-a-lifetime candid photo shown below was taken by Craig Kyle and shared on Twitter. It is missing a few notable women who were integral to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), Cobie Smulders (Maria Hill) and Jaimie Alexander (Lady Sif) just to name a few, but it’s still a great photo and should get fans excited about the possibility of a female-lead Avengers movie in the MCU.

From left to right, we have Zoe Saldana (Gamora), Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie), Brie Larson (Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel from the announced Captain Marvel), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Danai Gurira (Okoye from the upcoming Black Panther), Karen Gillan (Nebula), Evangeline Lilly (Ant-Man) and Pom Klementieff (Mantis of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2).
